In line with previous years, it is a requirement that you provide and fund the relevant group or one to one tax support sessions for those Civil Service employees who have received a Pensions Savings statement. These sessions are important as it will help the affected employees to understand if they have a tax liability and what actions they must take. There are strict timescales around requesting quote information and ensuring any tax liability is paid, it is therefore important that you consider and plan these sessions in advance to enable employees to have time to make their necessary arrangements. It would be advisable to consider and arrange any funding provisions that you may need to make for these sessions along with your central communications to employees inviting them to a session. To assist you in your planning and ability to support your affected employees, MyCSP is running a series of free Employer Pension Savings Statement sessions. These sessions will explain the calculation and impacts of Annual Allowance and Lifetime Allowance, the actions and impacts on the affected employees, the processes for employers and employees, timescales, how to book and booking options for group and one to one sessions. These sessions are free to attend and will last for approximately 2 hours.
