MyCSP awarded Investors in People Gold for ‘value it places on employees’

22 Nov 2018

Liverpool based pensions administrator MyCSP has been awarded Gold Standard accreditation by Investors in People (IIP) in recognition of the importance it places on employee engagement, communication and colleague development.

MyCSP, which employs over 500 staff across two sites in Liverpool and Cheadle, was also commended for improving its competitive positioning in the market place, underpinned by its unique mutual status.

In its review of the company, IIP, which exists as a standard for people management, made specific reference to some standout examples of best practice - a robust set of HR measures to track performance, new and improved reward and recognition strategies and the implementation of new management development programmes and team briefing tools. They also scored MyCSP as ‘advanced’ against the Leading and Inspiring indicator.

Matt Thurstan, CEO of MyCSP, said; “Investors in People has recognised, with its Gold standard, our ongoing commitment to our fantastic Employee Partners who underpin and drive the success of our business. It’s an achievement everyone at MyCSP is very proud of, especially with just 7% of IIP recognised companies being awarded the Gold rating. Receiving this accolade is a great validation of our focus on delivering consistent business performance and world-class customer service, qualities our parent company Equiniti values highly.”

IIP Assessor Roger Chapman said: “The Investors in People Gold Award recognises that the colleagues in MyCSP are actively driving positive outcomes, and taking ownership.  This Award is only achieved by a small percentage of organisations and demonstrates the progress that has been made over the last few years to move from Silver to Gold status.”
