Meet the Training team
Laura is responsible for managing the external training team as well as delivering training.
Providing this service to both employers and scheme members, covering the Civil Service Pensions arrangements and other public service pension schemes.
Laura joined MyCSP in April 2014 from the Pension Trust, where she worked for six years as a customer relations manager and an operations manager. Laura has over 20 years' experience of working in various companies in the pension industry (including Pensions and Benefits Services, Capita and Paymaster). She is a member of The Pensions Management Institute and a PRINCE2 qualified project manager.
Dermot's main role is delivering training to both employers and scheme members.
He covers the Civil Service Pensions arrangements and other public service pension schemes too.
Dermot joined MyCSP with nearly 20 years' experience at the wealth management business PFP Group, Pension and Benefits Services, Mercer and the British Library.
Cathryn is a Training Consultant delivering a range of sessions to both members and employers. She has been with MyCSP since its creation in 2012 and prior to this worked within pensions for DWP. She has a wide range of pension knowledge having worked in pensions operationally for over seven years and is also PMI qualified.
Cathryn enjoys learning and loves dispelling the myth that pensions are really complex – she’d like the opportunity to prove to you that they're not!
Michelle has previously worked for an in-house pension scheme provider and a number of third party administrators – both in administration and training roles. Through these roles, she has over twenty years of experience with Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Career Average private sector schemes.
Michelle’s main role is delivering training to both employers and scheme members. She covers the Civil Service Pension arrangements, Compensation Scheme, Injury Benefits and other public service pension schemes too.
Having joined MyCSP in January 2017, Michelle has used the wide range of information available on the MyCSP & Civil Service Pensions Websites and would like to encourage the members and employers to use these resources to help understand their pensions and the options available to them.
Kelly’s main role is delivering training to both employers and scheme members. She covers the Civil Service Pensions arrangements and other public service pension schemes too.
Kelly joined MyCSP in January 2015, originally as a Pensions Administrator. She then went on to gain experience on our Enquiry Centre and managed teams specialising in Retirements, Bereavements and Annual Benefit Statements.
Kelly has since joined the training team in January 2017 and hopes to be able to enlighten members in the workings of their pension.
